Games Square!

We had 19 kids and for the first time we divided the kids into 4 teams and did an AWANA (out-door) games square. It was great and fun!

Greame (our club director) is very happy with the progress we have made as a club. We hope to have a parents' night and close the club for this year on a positive note.

We are having a leaders meeting next Sunday after church worship.

Touching 18!

We we out of the club for about 3 Tuesdays due to the AWANA conference and visit to home. We attended club on the 21st Nov and we had 18 kids at the club! What God has done is amazing!

For the first time we had AWANA games outside! Chris did the games and the kids just enjoyed it.

Plus, Erika gave away some special awards for the kids. One of them was ' the most caring kid' of the week.

It's a Cricket team now!

I just came back from the club today. There's a lot of exciting things to update! Firstly - we had 11 kids today (that's the size of a cricket team). Sonny shared the story.
Chris brought his brother Anthony. Katie brought three friends. It's amazing how the club is growing. Erica is working on getting the badges stitched. I'm going to work on the AWANA pledge.

All in all, a great evening in the club!

The day we had 8 kids!

On the 12th Sept - we had 8 kids in our club. Sonny and Juno had brought 3 new children. Here's a 'Collage'. 12th Sept was also Graeme's birthday!

First things last!

At last we are able to see the right way to take this AWANA ministry to the next stage. Yesterday(18th Sept 2006) for the first time, Graeme came to our home and we prayed together for the ministry. We thank God for his guidance. We should have started these prayer sessions much much earlier.
But, better late than never. praise be to God.

As I was thinking about the club, an idea came to me about starting a 'blog'. And here I am, creating this Blog and making this first entry! I hope to back track a bit and make some more entries.

Hello AWANA team @ FCC. Please post your thoughts and suggestions as we progress through!
